2007-2008 Yearbook Update!

YEARBOOK UPDATE

PARENTS:  Believe it or not, the 2007-2008 Yearbook has been completed!  Shipment should be right before Thanksgiving. We will send out a flyer when they are actually here.  Again, we apologize for the delay.

You will be glad to know that THIS YEAR’S YEARBOOK (2008-2009) is RIGHT ON SCHEDULE!  We have switched yearbook companies and are expecting an even better yearbook than ever before!!  But we need your help.  This year, we would like to include a special section about Hurricane Ike and how it affected our school and our community.  Please submit any photos you have of your family experiences with Hurricane Ike, which include your Mark Twain students.  Also, we are looking for pictures of students involved in other areas outside of school – scouting, volunteer activities, etc. – anything that your child does to “Build Community”. We also welcome photos of our school events ie; Spooky Spaghetti and the Dad’s Club Camp Out.  Please submit photos (preferably on a CD) labeled with the event name in the Yearbook mailbox in the parent workroom.

ROOM PARENTS:  You can help by coordinating class photos.   You should have received an email about this so be on the lookout for it.  That will be a big help to us! 

STUDENTS:  This year, we are going to have a CONTEST for the cover design of the yearbook.  Our theme is “Building Communities” so put those thinking caps on and submit a great piece of art for the judging team to consider!  Please submit on 8 1/2 x 11 by NOVEMBER 15^th and place in the Yearbook Box in the front hallway.  Look for the signs.  We are so glad to be able to offer this again after a few years off.
