Bell schedule
7:10 am (before the bells) - the cafeteria will be open for breakfast, any students arriving early may enter through the cafeteria.
7:20 am - “First Bell” - the school doors are open and children may enter school and go to class.
7:30 am - “Tardy Bell” - the front and carpool doors close. All students arriving after 7:30 need to enter through the front doors and check in at the front desk to receive a tardy slip.
2:50 pm - Dismissal begins
5:30 pm - Aftercare ends

Walkers
Walkers may enter through the front door or the cafeteria/carpool doors
All kindergarten students will meet their teachers in the cafeteria.
Carpool
The carpool lane is located off of Aberdeen Way and entry is through the cafeteria doors. The carpool lane can ONLY be entered by a right turn off of Aberdeen Way. Carpool will follow the route indicated below.
Please follow the instructions of the safety patrol
Pull as far forward as possible
Only allow children to exit from the passenger side of the vehicle, while in the designated zone
Crossing the carpool lane is dangerous - Do NOT pull into the staff parking lot
Only right turns are allowed when exiting the carpool lane onto Aberdeen Way
Volunteer Lot (located at Braes Blvd & Underwood) is closed during drop off and pick up

Dismissal Procedures
Walkers
Parents of walkers in Kindergarten, 3rd grade should line up outside the gate near the outdoor classroom garden (in the volunteer parking lot) WITH their child’s pickup sign
Parents of walkers in 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grade should line up by grade WITH their child’s pickup sign.
If you would like your child to be an Independent Walker, please let your teacher know during Meet the Teacher.
Carpool
The carpool line starts on Aberdeen, and forms going in front of the school, southbound on Braes.
Please have your child(ren)’s pickup sign clearly visible in the windshield on the passenger side
Children should only enter the vehicle from the passenger side
The staff cannot accommodate walker parents at the carpool door
Other important times
9:00 am - Attendance time - Attendance is checked at 9:00 am each day. If a student is not in the classroom at 9:00 am, they will be marked absent for the day. Please try to schedule any appointments after this time.
2:30 pm - After 2:30 pm, the front office is getting ready for dismissal and cannot accommodate student pick-ups after this time. If your student needs to leave early, please plan to pick up prior to 2:30 pm.
